In Drums for Peace project we want to have participants with a rich variety of backgrounds, and our projects are designed and evaluated for this:

- We are, as workshopleaders, using professional artists
with a solid experience from youth-work in own region and country
as this secures active involvement of all participants

- We are using, as a tool in our projects, youth-culture elements
from the participative arts as this is fun, inclusive and encouraging.

- We are able to increase
emotional intelligence, tolerance, intercultural understanding
and a general motivation and curiosity for life
among school drop-outs as well as university students.

-In our projects
workshops of music, dance, drama, video etc.
are transformed into
a performance which is shown to other young people in the local area.

- We always implement multilateral projects with at least 4 countries.

- We are a network with partners from different areas such as:
youth-centres, social-inclusion NGOs & cultural associations.
